I don't think we need to be as strict as some of Europe, but being a little more cautious with some things is definitely a plus.

Twitter is so full of bots and troll farm accounts, that makes me wonder if Musk is leaving them on there intentionally to raise user numbers, sell advertising and blue check marks, and as a result, raise the value at which time he will sell.
I hope I’m wrong but he is the richest man in the world for a reason.
It is irresponsible to keep a platform where 60% of accounts aren’t real people.

My quick take on appointments so far is 75/80% good.
Gaetz is awful. Being an asshole to everyone isn't a qualification.
Tulsi Gabbard is awful.
RFK is awful.
Those three picks make me think that Trump is trolling us.
Hegseth is the least bad. The biggest issue is lack of experience with such a bureaucracy.
I don't know about Noem. She is squirrely and though a Governor; she doesn't have any law enforcement experience.
All of the agencies need fundamental change. Are those four able to implement fundamental change? I do not think so. And all for a variety of different reasons.
Though for the left going apoplectic on a few of these appointments, Obama considered RFK for a cabinet position, and clearly Buttigieg (and others) did not have any experience running a big bureaucracy and it shows.

I laugh at all the MSM academia types voicing their negative opinions on these appointments when they and so many others know so little about them. Where were they when Biden/Obama made their pitiful and I mean PITIFUL appointments??

We all know that effective CEOs will fire-and-rehire fast when things aren't working out or going as fast as they should. We saw Trump do this very effectively in his first term. We know Biden didn't do squat. To me, the risk of a bad pick becoming a sustained problem under Trump is very minimal.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!
