if it works for you, great. There are lots of reasons for disease. Some of it is under our control and some not.

I have a couple of good friends who are very slim and fit, and exercise (running) religiously (one a former wrestler), who have extremely high cholesterol (4x more than I have). They have heart disease, and have to closely watch their diet (processed foods). I know another very skinny person who has extremely dangerous sugar diabetes. I know others who don’t watch their diet at all who seem fine.

I have bad knees but try to exercise by riding my bike 3-5 times a week and 50-75 miles a week. I still had a heart attack. My cardiologist told me to make as much food from scratch, at home and stay away from the ultra-processed foods (lunch meats are a perfect example of ultra- processed food, full of sodium, and other chemicals) in restaurants and grocery stores.

Diet and exercise give you the best chance to live out your genetic potential - or you might say, God's plan for your days on this earth. Drugs buy you time and quality of life you otherwise wouldn't have enjoyed through a lack of genetic... or physical health.

The pandemic is a good example of many folks deciding against medicine and instead choosing to meet their reward in heaven.

      RIP

What did your cardiologist prescribe besides avoiding lunch meats hmmmm?

Unfortunately, heart disease is best (naturally) prevented over a lifetime of good choices and stress mgmt. At this point you are just putting duct tape on the issue. Aren't you glad you have that duct tape option though?

Read the labels on grocery foods. Many ingredients, you can’t even pronounce.

For example, Recommended daily intake of sodium
-adult is 2300 mg or 1 tsp of table salt.
              -children is less.

A can of condensed soup will have almost 2000 mg of sodium. (2 servings)

              Know what you’re consuming.

Fortunately, an EKG showed that the damage to my heart had healed, and the cardiologist couldn’t tell I had a heart attack. So healing can happen but the most important thing is to know what you are consuming, skip fast foods, and make most of your food from scratch (including salad dressings), 5 cups of fresh fruits and vegetables per day, frozen vegetables are much better than canned, skipping most canned goods, smoked meats, lunch meats, and other ultra processed foods.

i will add that anything more than 140 mg per serving on foods is considered to be high. Chips aren’t badly unhealthy if you purchase mg less than or close to 140 mg per serving, and limit your intake to the amount listed on the label which is usually 10-20 chips.

                • Trump Secretary of Defense nomination is in doubt.

President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team was in the middle of announcing new Cabinet picks this week when they were informed of a sexual assault allegation about one of his previous selections, Pete Hegseth, stunning several members of Trump’s team who have since raised questions about the viability of his nomination, according to two people close to the situation.

Trump had announced he was tapping Hegseth as his next secretary of defense after only days of considering the veteran-turned-Fox News host and very little internal vetting. Within 48 hours, the heads of Trump’s transition team were brought a complaint about a sexual assault allegation regarding Hegseth.

Here's something else you may find fascinating!

Remove modern medicine (DrUgSZZzz) tomorrow, and half the people you know start dying.
I never said drugs were not effective or good. I blame the doctors who over prescribe to chase minor side effects of another drug. Sometimes people need to accept minor side effects of one drug that is working for their ailment, not have the doctor prescribe more meds to chase some minor side effect.

I'm really surprised that you, with your gifted wisdom and intelligence, didn't understand my post.

Some of you and your rhetoric are just so stupid.

You know why there is an FBI in Wichita for two reasons: public corruption and Human Trafficking, not to persecute Trump acolytes.
