  • Vote for Obama

If you like being 16 trillion dollars in debt and want it to increase. At this point, what's another trillion? We can't pay it back anyway.
If you like having 44 million people on food stamps...can you imagine if these people were forced to wait in line for their subsidy?
If you like welfare recipients not having any conditions to receive welfare checks...why don't we all sign up?
If you like an American Poverty rate of 16%, roughly the same as the 1960's. Have all of the billions we've spent on poverty done any good at all? Thanks China for all that cash.
If you like a weaker military and are hoping that China, who holds most of our debt, becomes the sole world power and our landlord.
If you like the idea of government run everything from Healthcare to Automobiles to Student Loans. If only we could have the government regulate our food consumption, oh wait?
If you think that an unemployment rate of over 8% is a good thing. Actually the real number is probably closer to double that, but other than the 10 million people without jobs who cares?
If you think that the number of Americans claiming disability monthly is greater than the number of jobs being produced is a good thing.
If you think that the Constitution of the United States should not be adhered or followed by our elected citizens and that they alone determine law and who is in violation of them.
If you think that you owe the government everything and that you owe all of your blessings, success's and virtue to the government for without government you would be nothing.
If you like paying more than $3.50 per gallon for gasoline and think that bicycles and batteries will power transportation in the future.
If you think that every challenge you face, every bad decision you make is somebody else's fault.

Sorry everyone...just had to get this off my chest.

Govt running student loans doesn't bother me. Student loans paid for my WSU degree.

Just how is $3.50 gasoline Obama's fault and/or responsibility?

Most other points seem factually sound but I am curious on that one.

Bush and past presidents always adhered to the constitution word for word?

If that's the best argument for Obama then the conservatives are in good shape and I am disappointed in you my friend. I don't know very many, if any conservatives that support President Bush's fiscal policies.

          We must do better.

I don't think it is an argument for Obama I'm just tired of hypocrisy both ways when it comes to promoting a candidate. Turning the other way to interpretations of the Constitution at that particular time has been around since Myers v. United States, and I'm sure even before then - I just can't think of another prominent case. People should stop trying to make it out as a Republican-only thing or a Democratic-only thing, because it is not.

Oil production on federal lands is down under the Obama presidency. It has risen on private lands, but a lot of that privately owned oil leaves the country. Yes, oil prices are determined by a global market but the administration could be doing a lot more in terms of opening up federal supplies of fossil fuels to influence the global market. This includes approving the Keystone Pipeline, going all out for natural gas. We have seen our cheap form of energies become more expensive under this Presidency, which in turn makes more expensive renewable energies seem cheaper.

We only have two choices in this election. Neither choice is perfect and I think that Mitt Romney would admit as much. So are you going to vote for a candidate that has taken us where we are now, or are you not going to vote basically insuring the same outcome, or are you going to vote to at least stop what's happening and maybe give the next generation a fighting chance?

Like them or not, those are our choices whether you are Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Atheisist, Conservative etc.

56% of Federal Spending goes to entitlement spending. And with that said, Social Security and Medicare are on the verge of being bankrupt. How much more of the Federal budget will be needed to make it solvent? This is not going to end well.

LOL. The same thing could be said about Romney. It's not like the Republicans are any better managing the nation's checkbook or looking out for our liberties. I used to be a Republican, but King George W Bush put an end to that--and in dramatic style. It's going to take YEARS for us to recover from what that super size moron. I don't trust any Republican to be "fiscally conservative" or to give a damn about my civil liberties (*cough*..USA Patriot Act...*cough*). I don't care who we could have put in the White House 3 years ago or who will be in the White House 3 years from now--Republican or Democrat--they would have struggled just like Obama has.

I disagree...McCain was not the best choice but at least he would not have socialized our economy. Much of economic growth is transitioned by consumer confidence levels--of which we have none under this present administration. Obama's presidency and policies have to go--IMHO.

I will say this...Bush's first term? Thumbs up on how he handled 9/11 and united the country. Bush's second term? Thumb's down in how he handled spending and the economy and pandered to stubborn Democrats.

Bush is history, forget about him. Unless you're interested in real misery, I suggest you vote against Obama. Again just my opinion.

I like how people throw Bush out there like he was some hero to Conservatives... I don't think he was as brutally bad as many on the left do, but he was by no means great and did some really frustrating and head scratching things. But when the defense is that Bush did it, how does that help Obama? He's done some of the same stupid things and gone even further in my opinion in other areas.
