McCarthy made a deal with the devil to get the gavel and the devil always gets his due. If the GOP would exile the kooks to ****offistan I could see myself voting for a GOP candidate. As it sits, a GOP vote is a vote for Gaetz and Co and I’ll continue to hold my nose and straight ticket D until that’s not the case.

Remember when Gingrich came in and the Republicans had and executed on The Contract with America? Like an actual legislative plan? I didn’t support all of it, but I supported enough of it AND they did what they said they would do.

Trump will not be speaker. If you want to go to a non-house member Newt Gingrich or Lee Zeldin would be better choice in my opinion.

I liked the move on Nancy. According to McCarthy, as part of the passage of the recent 45-day clean continuing resolution, Pelosi had promised to not support Gaetz if a motion to vacate was filed. Instead, the former Democrat Speaker stabbed now former Republican Speaker in the back and actually encouraged her caucus not to save McCarthy. You reap what you sow.

The Republicans need to drop the Marquis of Queensberry rules of engagement.

I'm at the point where I just want the **** show. Perhaps at some point the American people will come to their senses and see that congress should really have no power at all.

But that's a big ask. What they will do is just elect Ds who will continue our path to more Gov't control and corruption.
