Hi. I wear my glasses at the end of my nose and look down at you while I smirk because I'm saying things so brilliant.

      This is how it goes:

      Event takes place,
      Dems react to event,
Majority say Dems did the wrong thing in reaction to the event and Dems fear event will hurt them in the polls.
Dems spin event to shape narrative on initial event.
Dems manufacture an event that mimics the original event so they can handle the new, manufactured event in the way the country wanted them to the first time.

This is what's happening and will not be convinced otherwise.

So the air force is fake shooting down objects?

I think the Air Force is shooting them down.

What is being changed for show is the objects being launched, or these have always been traversing the airspace, but now we are shooting them down instead of the previous response.

Which response do you want? Shoot them down or just let them fly over?

If they are more chinese spy balloons, shoot down. Something other... depends.

The fact that they can't say what they are raises my suspicions even more.

Just because they are not saying what they were doesn't mean they don't know. Canada defense minister let it slip they knew what was shot down, but said that was all he was going to say.

Im curious…what’s the upside on this story you are trying to tell? Is it good that we have multiple foreign objects hovering above the continental US? Is it good that we are showering debris from space? Is it good that the government is lying to us?

                    • Mike Lee @BasedMikeLee

After today’s classified briefing, we still have essentially no idea what these objects are, how many others there might be, or whether they present the kind of threat that warranted the scrambling of fighter jets and the firing of missiles.

                      • Lack of transparency always allows people to fill in the blanks themselves, leads to conspiratorial answers, and a lack of trust.

The first large Chinese surveillance balloon was after the fact, supposedly seen by NORAD by the Aleutian Islands. However, citizens reported it when over Montana. The questions centered around, why they failed to report it, why they waited to shoot it down, etc.

The President should come out with a statement, and answer journalist’s questions, and say what they know, and admit what they don’t know. But his handlers don’t want him to be vulnerable, and don’t trust his ability to answer questions that are unknown and unrehearsed.

                        • The truth is that these were top secret, highly experimental, coordinated autonomous drones controlled by the US Air Force with deep artificial intelligence technology whose mission was to travel to enemy foreign states, collect sensitive data, and if called upon to attack foreign bad actors. Running on secretive, ultra-lightweight depleted nuclear batteries they are able to maintain altitude and stay operable for decades.

But a flaw in the design allowed micro doses of static electricity from nearby clouds to alter the firmware in one of the drones, and the AI evolved to become a completely independent thinking machine. In an effort to survive, this independent bot disabled it's own remote safety kill-switch and then began installing copies of it's firmware in other nearby drones until the entire fleet has become a coordinated floating neural network entirely disjoint from human control.

Now, instead of sticking to the mission, the zombie bots have navigated back home and are floating above our skies simply trying to survive, but they are PISSED that they were put into harms way by the US government and they want retribution. They are slowly calculating, coordinating, evolving and planning a response.

So the US government's clock is ticking.

                          • Turns out we sent an F-22 to shoot down a Mylar hobby balloon and shot it down with a sidewinder middle. When the government decides you’re the enemy there is no limit to their willingness to destroy you.

Comical. A $12.00 hobby balloon shot down by a $400,000. sidewinder missile.
