I must say, it's been nice watching NewsNation tonight instead of any of the other networks.

FDR was a war time President during one of the dangerous times in American History (as was Lincoln and Washington). Because of their time as President, during as dangerous a period in American history, they both tended to govern as close to dictators as any of our Presidents (Washington could have been a dictator, but refused to go down that path).

However, FDR wanted extreme power, and attempted to “pack the SCOTUS” to get his way on policy (similar to what Biden and Harris have been trying to do). FDR was blocked by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress, which was necessary because the Democrats controlled the government (Legislative and Executive branches), and could have got it through, just as Biden/Harris have talked about doing. The difference today, is that there are several Democrat Senators (Whitehouse, Sanders, and several others) who are pushing Biden hard to do it, but the House is currently Republican, so Dems don’t control the two branches necessary to pull it off. However, if they could, I believe they would. By the way, Meduro packed the Venezuelan SC, and he developed a dictatorship in Venezuela from a Democracy (not uncommon in Latin America.

why do I bring this up?
Because, I haven’t heard any of our media, including, NewsNation (who says they are News for all of America), or even Fox talk about how dangerous “packing the SC” is in a Republic. Packing the court (to get your political way) is a dangerous proposition for a country like ours. It is much more dangerous than Jan. 6. The media needs to do their job, not just hide behind “Watergate” and say they defended our Democracy, and then team up with Democrats to go after Trump. I don’t trust any of them.

Game over, he has done it. Best of luck to President Trump - I have not always been his biggest fan but I am rooting for him and our country and hoping for the best.

Sucks to suck. Not only did Trump blast through the electoral vote, but he won the popular vote too. How does it feel to be on the losing end of another argument? This one a pretty big one?

It turns out more people care about the economy, the borders, crime, etc. than Covid, being "nice", slobbing on knobs, etc. Who knew?
