I volunteer Whipple and Cruse to be forcibly wed and offered as the first settlers of a Mars colony.
I mean let's be honest, Cruse has Whipple beat in the batsheetcrazy rankings by an order of magnitude. Whipple is a whiny little beach, but Cruse is legitimately a person with psychological issues.

Yikes. Not familiar with him. Is his "doctorate" similar to that of Jill Biden's? He is definitely not giving off doctor vibes with the way he speaks. Seems like a typical Rules for Thee but not for Me Democrat. Shame on him. I love how the City Manager basically tries to get him off the hook also. So not only was he trying to cut in front of legitimate moderate and low income folks when he is clearly over the income threshold he was also illegally going to dump trash from a rental property? Dude puts the D in Douchebag.

I'm really glad I'm not in Wichita.

Graduated from WSU with a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology.
Master's Degree at WSU in liberal studies with an emphasis on cross-cultural studies & public administration.
Acquired a doctorate in leadership studies from Franklin Pierce University.
Rumored to be working on a research project at Berlinisches Polytechnikum.

His bio is here: https://www.wichita.gov/Council/Pages/Mayor.aspx He certainly has reviewed his bio, so he can't claim ignorance.

"I received my Bachelors in Sociology and Master's of Arts from Wichita State, and I received my Doctor of Arts in Leadership Studies with a concentration in policy and law from Franklin Pierce University."
After a search at FPU, I found exactly one doctoral program. And it isn't even remotely close to "leadership" studies -- it's physical therapy.
They have a leadership program as an MBA concentration: https://franklinpierce.edu/academics...eadership.html
They also have a leadership program as an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership: https://franklinpierce.edu/academics...education.html
Neither of those disciplines offer a doctorate (per their website). I have emailed the school asking if they ever offered a doctorate in either of those two programs. The MBA program doesn't have a concentration in "policy" and "law", because "Leadership" IS the concentration. The M.Ed doesn't speak to any concentration.
There is this though, and I haven't looked far enough into it: https://www.yumpu.com/en/document/vi...e-university/2 This implies that it could be legit.Last edited by Kung Wu; October 14, 2022, 02:27 PM.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

Whipple is the archetype of the folks who couldn't hope to get halfway through a STEM bachelors program, but instead spend a decade of their life filling up their curriculum vitae with hollow, vapid, brain dead nonsense that you might could see a monkey through with enough training and coaxing.Last edited by SHOCKvalue; October 14, 2022, 04:00 PM.

A little ironic the fraternal order of police actually endorsed him prior to the election.
"I’m so grateful for the support of the men and women of the Wichita Police Department," Whipple said. "I look forward to working with them to strengthen community policing, ensure all Wichita neighborhoods are safe, and build greater trust with the public."
Now that he's throwing them under the bus, he'll have no support in the future. He should be totally ashamed of himself for how he's handled this situation.Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.
