‘Old Fat Beer Belly Day’ sounds a lot better than ‘Old Fat Beer Belly Month’.

    • No one really cares about someone being gay or lesbian today. 20 or 30 years ago, it was more of an issue and they had legit gripes. Today, there is just a small minority that get off on flaunting their gayness and seeing how far they can take things into the mainstream culture to own the prudes (who generally just wink and nod in order to avoid the grief of being called a 'phobe'). We also have a vehicle for folks to chase clout by virtue-signalling their support of anything LGBTQ+. Its kind of a self powering movement further and further into crazy-ville. The trans folks have hijacked it and took it off into the ditch and the gays and lesbians are kinda starting to cringe. Involving children is where there is going to continue the pushback.

People can easily choose not to buy goods or services as opposed to actually speaking out on Twitter or Facebook. That's where the pushback will continue.

But let's remember, the only accomplishment to be celebrated is to put your junk in different places. And now its to say you are the opposite sex and threaten to kill yourself if you aren't applauded.

SO much to be proud of.

And the irony is that the quest for tolerance has pushed this movement into absurdity due to extreme tolerance by society.

There are 2 federal holidays dedicated to the military, Veterans day and Memorial day. Armed Forces day is also a recognized holiday. There are no federal holidays dedicated to LGBTQ that I'm aware of.

Every sporting event I can recall attending from the Wichita Thunder to NASCAR has recognized military members in attendance. I've never been on pride night, but I've never been at a game in which the LGBTQ community has been asked to stand for recognition.

Kansas City Royals Salute to Service: Every 2023 home game
Details: The Royals salute a member of the military at each home game, presenting them with 4 tickets and a special in-game tribute.

I'm all for more recognition of our service members, but I think you've got some blinders on if you think the LGBTQ community gets more recognition in the US than our service members.
I'm sure I'm wearing blinders, but I'll wager every single member of this forum knows it's Pride month, and virtually none of them have ever heard of National Military Appreciation Month.

Either way, the U.S. culture is still collapsing.

A "gynosexual" is someone attracted to female features, and to the appearance/smell-taste/etc of sex organs like vaginas, "no matter which gender these happen to belong to." MH speculates that many men may fall into this new category, and I personally feel queer joy right now.

Totally, and this is just one aspect.

                • Watching Tim Scott. If we can bring this country together, we're going to need leaders like Tim Scott. He's impressive just because he's a regular guy, but he's so much more.

I've been on the Scott train since he announced. He will get my vote if it looks like trump is out. Scott is a self made man with conservative values. But Trump is still my number 1. Proven warrior guaranteed to root out the rot in DC, and proven leader who has brought the US to the mountain top while fighting off BS accusations from scourge of the deep state.

Scott or any other conservative candidate who gets a lead, will receive the same type of treatment that Trump did when he was leading the Republican primaries. I'm not sure there is another human being that can stand up to that and perform at the same time.

I like Tim Scott. He is a breath of "fresh air", and a joy to listen to. If people knew him, many would be drawn to him. But most don't know him yet.

I just cannot listen to Trump for very long. He's just too self centered.

I will vote for Trump against Biden), but My fear for Trump is that he is can't be elected in a general election (I'm not sure that Biden will be nominated but if he is, it isn't clear he can beat Trump). My reasons for fearing that Trump can't win, is that Trump has a ceiling of 25% (maybe a little higher) of people who would vote for him no matter what. However most Republicans will either stay home because they aren't excited about him, or some just won't vote for him, and may vote against him. As for suburban Independents, I don't think they will sign on to Trump, and the Independents are why Trump lost to Biden in 2020. They just don't like him, and I have to say that Trump is pretty unlikable. My additional concern is that he calls so many of his past workers who criticize him names, that who will work in his administration.

Trump picks someone like Omarosa to work for his White House, and then he is surprised that she quits, and becomes his worst critic for the other side?

                        • Anyone who refrains from voting in 2024 should be deported. The choice has never been more clear. The Dems even tell us their socialist agenda. If you want a free country free from government overreach, Go vote for anyone in the general other than a Dem. Even if they are labeled a centrist or moderate, they are going to be run by the AOCs and other radical leftists.

None of these people represent you at a national level. The problem is greater than party affiliation. The only reason the democrats are more dangerous than the republicans is because they organize in an effective manner.

                              FIFY.

Do you honestly think Biden setting in his basement for the entire campaign, got more votes than Obama did? Don't you think that is a little fishy? Their last minutes voting rule changes do to the pandemic, allowing some states to harvest ballots when it was against those states constitutions. Counting votes of ballots that were sent in late. Winning some districts by 95% of the votes.

Just too many oddities in the 2020 election for me to believe it was an honest one.

Not gonna argue with the way you changed my quote other than to say it’s not quite cheating, but it’s not honest either.
