By John Kass Now that entertainer and Obama White House star Jussie Smollett has been convicted on multiple counts of faking an anti-gay, anti-black, anti-Trump hate crime against himself, what do we hear? We hear a predictable chorus from Woke Media World: Let it go. Forget it. Leave it alone. Yes, he’s guilty. And that’s a good thing. But let’s ... Read More

Smollett is sentenced to 150 days in jail - https://www.tmz.com/2022/03/10/jussi...hicago-attack/ - from the article:

The judge called Jussie arrogant, selfish, narcissistic, and he did damage to real victims of hate crimes. Victims are always reluctant to come forward, and Jussie did them no favors. The judge says Jussie lied ... lied and lied repeatedly about the incident.

The judge made it clear he was not sentencing Jussie to satisfy public opinion ... it was purely a matter of what Jussie did. The judge said there was nothing he could do that would be worse than what he did to himself, saying Jussie destroyed his life by his shenanigans.
... and Jussie went off on the judge, telling him if he dies in prison it's not suicide. It got so intense, Jussie was taken into custody and left with his fist in the air.
Not responsible for damage from posts that sail over the reader's head.

Glad they caught that racist homophobe and threw him in jail. Now Jussie can have some peace.

I’m wondering if jail is much of a sentence for him.

Meanwhile, Lucas Denny of Texas has been jailed w/o bond 4 months ago related to the Jan 6 incident. His fourth and sixth amendment rights were violated (as admitted by the prosecutors). He was charged with assaulting an officer with a whiffle ball bat (PVC pipe).

The defense is attempting to plead guilty and has already been held longer than the maximum sentence. The prosecution is rejecting the plea and asking the case to be thrown out so they can charge him more harshly in the future.
