Okay, so I looked it up. You get an IFS and solid rear axle on the Bronco. The Jeep will absolutely torch the Bronco on the boulders. I did “boulders” three times in 8 years and have a prison proof butt hole pucker as a result. The Bronco is probably better suited for 90% of potential buyers use.
Bronco vs Wrangler should be a good debate for years to come!Livin the dream

If you want to go fast, get a sports car. The Bronco has a 0-60 time of 5.9 seconds and a 14 second quarter mile with the V-6.Livin the dream

For the Bronco I would want something that's efficient for 99 percent of the time, but enough power to get me out of a jam when I am fly fishing in the Rockies. I think a modern, efficient-ish V6 is perfect for that.Kung Wu say, man who read woman like book, prefer braille!

I hesitantly got rid of my Wrangler in November because I have back issues. Even in the Sahara trim, you don’t get power seats or lumbar support. At 6-3, my knees were always in the dash or on the door/center console. My boys are just shy of puberty, and the back seat of a Wrangler unlimited just isn’t comfortable for road trips, and the kids crying every time some water was up over the door sill made the experience that much more stressful.
Although my Wrangler was paid off, I was able to trade in the Wrangler and get a new Ram 1500 Laramie for a little over $400/month. It is ridiculously comfortable and roomy. Heated/cooled front and rear seats, cameras, adaptive cruise and wipers, same gas mileage, much faster and smoother. I think this vehicle will offer a more practical solution for my stage in life.
I want my Wrangler back!Livin the dream

Picking up a F350 Tremor I ordered back in December though this weekend. Eyes on the prize.

Definitely not a Bronco Sport. If I had unlimited funds I'd have a modded-up Wrangler or Bronco in the collection, but they're really only good at one thing - off road - and arguably kinda awful at everything else one looks for in daily transportation.

If you're not going off road - and I mean like trips to Colorado and Moab and whatnot - neither is really a great choice. Still a free country for a few more months though, so folks can drive what they darn well choose.
