I don't know if I would go so far as call them all role playing...

I would like to see half a dozen Navy Seals go in there. They'd clear that entire 6-block zone out in 15 mins. They would receive one rule of engagement from me: do not fire unless fired upon. If rapper Raz Simone and his AR-15 wanted to die for his cause, so be it. But civil law would be reinstated right after sundown (Seals like to work in the dark).

You don’t have to send in the SEAL team to get those LARPers out. A three day siege would do it.

I've not heard one peep from any media or experts explaining the time proven theory; "Do Not Resist Or Make Any Threatening Moves."

We've all known that since we were children. "It's a learned thing (you wouldn't understand)."

French postmodernists. Once communism became untenable to the masses in the western world, they rewrote Marxist doctrine as a racial struggle of oppression instead of a classist issue. This was adopted as axiomatic doctrine by third wave feminists and humanities professors that read about critical race theory.

Social media allowed these fringe theorists to believe that they had consensus, then the educated elite does what they always do in times where there is no existential threat: push for puritanical authoritarianism.

                  https://www.thedailybeast.com/seattl...s-armed-guards

Members of the Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club (PSJBGC)—a leftist community defense and firearms education organization that gained a spate of notoriety last year when a former member, Willem van Spronsen, set fire to an ICE parking lot—have been a constant presence. The club is often asked to provide security for protests and rallies around the Seattle area, and while their involvement in CHAZ is structured more loosely, the presence of armed civilians has raised a few eyebrows.

                  Leftist gun clubs have been
on the rise, and organizations like the Socialist Rifle Association—of which, full disclosure, I am a member—Huey P. Newton Gun Club, Trigger Warning Queer & Trans Gun Club, and other chapters of the John Brown Gun Club have successfully introduced the issue of gun rights and firearms education into the broader leftist discourse. In Seattle, John Brown members have generally been showing up on an individual basis, rather than as part of a coordinated campaign. But as Nick—the group’s towering spokesperson, who like other members requested his full name be withheld given law enforcement’s fixation on left-wing activists—told The Daily Beast, the group was also tapped to provide a security escort for “some very prominent black voices who were doing speeches here at the Autonomous Zone” following the events of last Sunday evening.
I had no idea the "anti-gun" Left was starting to arm themselves. We're moving closer to a civil war of sorts for sure now. That's too bad.

It makes sense though... in the end, it's the Socialists that have all the guns.

Slightly off topic. I am armed, but not heavily so. Tomorrow I change course. Suggestions on reasonable, useful and effective purchases?

If you are armed for self defense, you need a pistol and a long gun. I recommend you pick a caliber for each and stick to it.

Pistol: 9 mm, 40, or 45. 9 mm allows for the most rounds in a single mag. A single stack concealed carry w/o an external safety is highly recommended (with a holster). Pick a trusted brand. There are several. A full size in the same caliber may also be of benefit.

Rifle: 223. Get an AR platform. Easy to handle even for a small female. If you want to be a little more incognito, a Ruger Mini-14 has the same effectiveness in a traditional hunting rifle set up (wood stock, no handle).

Get a pistol and rifle for everyone in the family that can safely handle one.

So.... How do we go from protests over police brutality in Minneapolis to (from what I can tell mostly white hippies) in Seattle blocking off 6 blocks and forming a no go zone?

A spontaneous peaceful protest over a scumbag cop murdering a man that 99% of Americans were appalled at.....

Where did they get the barricades? And that list.... haha. What is good ice?

Oh I love playing this game!

You need a rifle. A pistol is only useful as a means to get back to your rifle.

AR-15 and a bunch of ammo cans filled with 5.56.

A second AR-15 if you feel froggy or have a friend. 3+ AR-15's if you want to join CB's club and "call it an investment" :D

Then buy about 20+ magazines. Magpul are fine. https://www.ammunitiondepot.com/445-...gazines-223556

Now load up a couple magazines and store them with your rifle (secured of course). Loaded magazines won't "wear out".

If you want to be fancy buy penetrator and hollowpoint ammo and alternate load it in your self defense magazines. That'll take care of body armor wearing baddies and for those that aren't wearing any, will turn their insides into pudding.

The thing to remember is... if the **** ever hits the fan, you're gonna want ammo more than weaponry so make sure you buy a couple cans full. Since the chances of us actually having a civil war are still slim, you don't wanna go full retard and load up your entire truck. If skirmishes start happening in places around the country, the ammo and weapons you have stored will be worth 10x what you paid for them. You will be very tempted to sell at that point. It's up to you whether or not you do. Same goes for the next presidential administration; if they're Libtard, they're definitely coming for the guns. Those of us with a collection will be grandfathered (unless they attempt confiscation --- LOL) thus we will enjoy a dramatic appreciation in value. Back in the 80's you could buy fully automatic machine guns for a few hundred dollars. Then they were banned. This is what they go for now: https://otbfirearms.com/nfa/transferable-machine-guns/

Now go arm yourselves gentlemen because it appears the 'tards are playing catch up!

Seattle, Portland, and Olympia were already hotbeds of communist revelation. Combined with a sympathetic (fully supportive?) government, all they needed was an excuse to start LARPing.
