See how easy CB fixes things?
Now the reason they WON'T do this is because they thrive on a divided country. It's what brings people to the polls. If politicians actually did their jobs they would be quickly commoditized - becoming interchangeable government clerks (which was likely the original intended purpose of their position after the founding). What you have today is rabble-rousing wannabees who've used politics for financial and celebrity gain. This goes for both sides and is truly deplorable. A politician should be similar to clergy in that it's a mission, not a golden parachute.
I'm okay with a Civil War as long as the politicians are on the front lines for each warring faction. They are the ones that created this mess after all. Behind them would be the media personalities.
