It looks like the 14 Democrats won't be returning any time soon since they now know governor Walker's real motives.

He said nothing different than what he has stated publicly. Sounds like a man of morals and character which is far better than the "jug-eared moron" currently occupying the White House.

Ind. official out of job after live ammo tweet

        By CHARLES WILSON
        Associated Press
        Wednesday, February 23, 2011; 7:26 PM

INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indiana deputy attorney general "is no longer employed" by the state after Mother Jones magazine reported he tweeted that police should to [sic] use live ammunition against Wisconsin labor protesters, the attorney general's office said Wednesday.

The magazine reported Wednesday that Jeffrey Cox responded "Use live ammunition" to a Saturday night posting on its Twitter account that said riot police could sweep protesters out of the Wisconsin capitol, where thousands have been protesting a bill that would strip public employees of collective bargaining rights.

Cox also referred to the protesters as "thugs physically threatening legally-elected state legislators & governor" and said "You're damn right I advocate deadly force," according to the magazine. He later told an Indianapolis television station the comments were intended to be satirical.

He could be facing some ethics violations from what I've read because of what he said during the faked Koch telephone conversation. Wisconsin has some of the strictest ethics laws.

Also some of the democrats were complaining because he won't take any of their calls, but as soon as he thought he had a call from David Koch, he took the call.

Wisconsin Assembly Charges Toward Vote on Budget Bill, Senate Remains Stuck
Wisconsin Republicans in the state Assembly charged toward a vote on their controversial budget bill Thursday after compelling Democrats to limit debate, though the Senate remained stuck on account of 14 boycotting lawmakers.

The modest breakthrough on the Assembly side was announced at dawn following more than 42 hours of debate which began Tuesday morning. Under the plan, the Republican majority will allow another 38 amendments to be considered, for no more than 10 minutes apiece. That puts the Assembly on track for a vote perhaps as early as midday.
Republicans in Ohio offered a small concession on Wednesday, saying they would support allowing unionized state workers to collectively bargain on wages -- but not for benefits, sick time, vacation or other conditions. Walker's proposal also would allow most public workers to collectively bargain only for wages.

In Ohio, Republican Senate President Tom Niehaus denied protests have dented the GOP's resolve, saying lawmakers decided to make the change after listening to hours of testimony. He said he still believes the bill's core purpose -- reining in spending by allowing governments more flexibility in dealing with their workers -- is intact.
And in Oklahoma, a Republican-controlled state House committee on Wednesday narrowly approved legislation to repeal collective bargaining rights for municipal workers in that state's 13 largest cities.

Some interesting information that sheds more light on why the union is fighting this so hard.

I also heard a guy call in to Rush yesterday who was a Teamster for several years in Washington state. He shared some of his personal observations. The two that stuck out to me:

                              - Unions and their members don't care about jobs, only their salary. They would rather lose jobs than take low single-digit reductions in pay to save those jobs.

                              - When higher-ranking union members are brought in to strikes and protests, lower ranking members are told to cover for them. That's how they can go to these things and not get fired from their jobs.
