  • [KC Chiefs] Week 7 vs Jacksonville Jaguars

Time to move on, I watched Jacksonville on Monday night, and they seriously reminded me of some of Herm Edwards worse teams, Matt Cassel should have a good day again, there secondary is pretty bad. O and both of their 2 QBs David Garrard or Trent Edwards might not play, so they may have to start newly acquired just this week David Bouman to start at QB this week.

I'm pretty sure nobody had the Chiefs 3-2 at this point leading the AFC West. What's even better is ESPN and Yahoo sports had stories this week saying while winning the last 2 games would have been great...they basically proved they are legit by the way they played both games. Not sure I completely agree. But the next 2 are must wins if they want to take that next step.

Teams are blistering Jags through the air, running games have been below average.

Chiefs D is going to have to stop Maurice Jones-Drew and keep the ball out of his hands. He is a playmaker and a dual threat back (run or catch). Chiefs have not been very effective at defending the RB pass (opponents are averaging 8 RB receptions per game). Even though the Chiefs D has kept the yardage allowed by RB low, they have given up 5 running TD.

          Chiefs at Arrowhead? That's a W.

I would have called KC legit if they had held on to their 4th quarter double-digit lead.

interesting Don Banks say Todd Haley is the coach of the year so far.

            1. Todd Haley, Chiefs -- The overmatched Chiefs won a combined 10 games in the past three seasons, but Haley has them a blown interference call away from being 4-1 and comfortably ahead in the AFC West. Kansas City, in reality, is 3-2, on a two-game losing streak and just 1½ games ahead of everyone in the division. But a 3-0 start has changed the entire landscape in Chiefs-dom, and Haley has a good, young team that has been 2010's top turnaround story thus far.

I think KC needs to keep runing the ball until Jacksonville proves they can stop them.

                          KC 7-0.
