I know your a Cassel hater. I'm hardly a Cassel fan (I'm waiting waiting and hoping) but still when he was on a quality team he put:

    327 for 516 (63%) 21 TD, 11 INT, 89.4 Passing Rating, 10-5 record as a starter in NE.

That is not garbage numbers. Some of things Cassel has done is definitely on him, but when you have a WR corp leading the league in dropped passes, there maybe other issues.
Any second string QB could put up those numbers in that offense

He is a beast. Just get some more INT's and the pro bowl will be all locked up for him.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

There u go. If KC gets cassel a couple quality WR and offensive line then problem solved.

Actually the offensive line has been a strength not a weakness:

The Chiefs offensive line has permitted a league-low 3.0 sacks, the club’s lowest total after four games since allowing 3.0 sacks in ’94. The Chiefs have had 17 negative offensive plays, the lowest total in the league.

I think the jury is out on that yet much like the Chiefs. That is same saying that KC is 3-1 so they will finish 12-4 this year. KC opponents to this point have pretty average to mediocre defenses. Offensively KC has been middle of the pack against the lower half D in the league. Might get ugly when playing some quality D.

Texans do have one of worst pass Defenses. So it will be interesting to see what Cassel does against them. A bad game might get the Cassel haters what they want (whatever that is).

Note that I said that the offensive line "has been" a strength. Of course, no one knows whether they will continue to play well or not until they do it. The point in this discussion, however, is that through the first four games of the season, if the Chiefs have struggled in the passing game, it is not because of poor play by the offensive line.

The offensive line is not doing badly. But there were quite a few hurries last game. Weiss was also giving Alberts some help on Freeney mostly with the RB some of the time. They were also trying to slow the rush from Freeney by flanking him and using his hard rush against him on running plays, and utilizing the short passing game and getting the ball off quickly. The short passing game helped a little but the Colts were able to tighten up their defense by using tighter corners and m/m coverages.d Thus it would have been nice if Bowe could have burned them on that one on one fade.

Chiefs with two 4th down conversions on opening drive with a Cassel TD pass to take 7-0 lead.

Do you think Haley hits or stands on 16 in blackjack?

                        I'm thinking hit.

Texans score to tie the game up.

                        7-7

Cassel taking some big hits. Latest was roughing the passer.

Alberts false starts or the Chiefs would have went for the third 4th down conversion.

Cassel connects to Bowe on 16 yard TD pass with 0:13 left in the half.

                              KC 14, Texans 7

nice TD to D Bowe. But lets start doing that on a consistent basis before you celebrate by pretending to have sticky hands mmmkay.
