Normally going into a game against a struggling team, "tough" wouldn't be the first word to come to mind. But outside of Arrowhead, this team will be very vulnerable.

I'd give KC less than a 50/50 chance at this one.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

True, but I think there is always a chance for KC especially with the way our defense is playing, its just too dam bad that our QB is garbage.

I know your a Cassel hater. I'm hardly a Cassel fan (I'm waiting waiting and hoping) but still when he was on a quality team he put:

        327 for 516 (63%) 21 TD, 11 INT, 89.4 Passing Rating, 10-5 record as a starter in NE.

That is not garbage numbers. Some of things Cassel has done is definitely on him, but when you have a WR corp leading the league in dropped passes, there maybe other issues.

They're probably dropping passes because they're not used to him putting them close enough to be caught.

D bowe was a 1,000 yard receiver before cassel got there, and all sudden he sucks now.

I have no idea why DB drops passes. The KC reporters (Teicher) who have watched them practice have always said that he isn't a natural pass catcher and has always struggled to catch it with his hands..

Didn't seem to bother Welker or Moss. Wes Welker and Randy Moss were both 1,000 yard receiver with Cassel throwing to them.

Again, there was Tony Gonzales they had to worry about. Gonzo leaves, Bowe production drops off because now they can focus on him and he is really a 2nd or 3rd tier WR. Happens many times in the NFL.

What would his stats looked like if he wasn't always leading the league in dropped passes?

and Matt Cassel is a 2nd string QB at best

That is the story of the Chiefs - try and make 2nd string QB their starting QB's. And when they have good one (e.g. Gannon) they let him go. When they try drafting they whiff.

But the fact remains he's been a starting QB for 3 year now and he's the only thing the Chiefs have. So you either believe in Pioli/Haley or they suck because you are so much smarter then them.

As a Chiefs fan you hope that somehow Bowe and Cassel mature and get better at their respective positions. Because if they don't the Chiefs are not going to have any chance for success for the next 5 years.

Actually his contract is all front heavy in the first 2 years, so the chiefs can cut him after this year, and wouldn't have any cap penalties. I do believe in Haley/Pioli, but nobodies perfect, and i think this is just one of Pioli's mistakes.

he moves his hands right before the catch, a sign that he is slightly uncomfortable. With the WR coach and Haley (a former WR coach, and a good one. he developed Keyshawn Johnson, worked with terry glenn and TO) working with him, he should improve as the season goes on. and he was a 1,000 yard receiver on a team with a bad run game. now that the run game is good and chris chambers is there and tony moeaki seems to be a favorite target, DB will see less throws. until he improves, the coaching staff will take advantage of his size and use him as a blocker on the field.

I heard on the radio today that that Flowers is giving up 2.6 yppa in 31 targets. That is easily the tops in the NFL. If he keeps this up, he should make the pro bowl.
