Pig In Pig Out is very good. Hog Wild is also very good. Two Brother's on west Central is good. Bite Me BBQ on West Kellog at 151st is good.

Thanks to all. As for the Thai if they got Thom Yum soup Phad Thai and Panang Curry I'm happy.

I got ahead of myself, and owe GH an apology. While Hog Wild is acceptable, PigInPigOut is superior and the correct choice.

A found these with a Google search of Thai restaurants in Wichita.

            Thai Tradition
            Thai House
            Taste of Thai Restaurant

There were others that didn't have web pages.

              Yes, you've seen the light.

When I opened this thread and saw the first few posts recommending forgettable Two Brothers and generic national chain Famous Daves I was :banghead:.

              Go PIPO!

I simply don't like the sauce at Hog Wild and think Two Brothers is far better.

My God, anything but Famous Dave's. I can't believe someone is actually recommending that place for good Q . Pig In, Pig Out is probably the best.. Unfortunately there is no Gate's, Okie Joe's, or Bryant's in Wichita.

Two Brothers is also planning a new restaurant in the old service station at Hillside and Douglas. Might actually be really cool spot.

B & C at about 3rd and Washington is a great place. Open for lunch only and is a buffet.

The Thai House on West Street is very good. The # 15 Thai HOT will peel paint.

Without a doubt Adams BBQ was the greatest ever in Wichita when they were at 17th and Hydraulic. They moved and later became R & S after Mrs. Adams died, then went down hill after someone from Boeing retired and bought it.

Rudy's on Murdock was outstanding also.

Both Adams and Rudy's are examples of the black man producing superior BBQ compared to these white guys now that think they can cook.

Shirley is the smartest person I know. I remember eating at "Adams" when I was in college but didn't realize it later became R&S on 13th later. Shirley you should really write a book on the history of various trivia items in and around Wichita.

If you're just in it for the food then the beef brisket at Pig In Pig Out is hands down the best bbq in town. Part 2 if you're just in it for the food...then stop over at the Thai House but beware that it's only set up for carryout.
