The jets aren't all first-class but still, it's a private jet that we charter so really, not THAT much of a huge difference. And another thing to take into consideration is the "cities" that we play in during conference play. We do stay in the nicest hotels they have to offer, which is not very much. If we were playing in places like Austin, Norman, Columbia, and other places that have the quality hotels that KU is staying in, we'd be staying in the same places. When we're in out of conference play, when we play in the likes of the Kansas City area, even Cleveland, we'll stay in hotels fairly comparable.
I don't think I heard you correctly. Did you say that Columbia had quality hotels?
Lawrence also has their share of dumps...
Teams traveling to Lawrence currently stay at the Eldridge, but may stay at the Oread once it opens in a week or two.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

KU's funds are in fact very limited. They are at quite a disadvantage compared to several other Big 12 schools in regards to budgeting. With self pulling down 3 million a year and football probably barely in the black, they wipe their little cheating tushies with the same grade of toilet paper as the Shockers.
I'm not talking about Baylor. Compared to Baylor, KU's budget would look like the federal government. I'm talking about the big Texas schools and Oklahoma.

KU has admitted their financial disadvantage publicly. Perhaps it was only an excuse because it was brought up around the time when a WSU - KU matchup was getting a lot of press in Wichita. When discussing home, home, neutral scenarios, KU said they must play as many home games as possible because of the revenue involved and their struggle to maintain competitiveness (financially) in the Big 12 against the biggest schools. This was before the Orange Bowl success so perhaps they are in better shape now with football making a little bit more money (or is it?).

Shortly after that, ESPN contacted them with a WSU versus KU national T.V. game and KU politely refused. Perhaps it isn't about money at all? :)

So this is where the Baylor boy has been during our 14-2 stretch.

          Nice hideout, chump.

I posted in the main basketball forum but they moved it.

Chump--I will not mention Baylor's 12-1 record at all.

            MTXE--Your post makes sense now.
