I hate them. Good riddance to this season and I long for the first thread of the heavily anticipated KC Royals season.

You might be waiting until your grandkids have grandkids.. maybe..

Broncos won 6 straight then crashed. Blame the defense for the losses. Expect the Broncos defense to retool & be back next season to keep the team competitive.

Overall you have to atleast say McDaniels did better in Denver this season than KC did getting Haley and Pioli.

If KC wins, it was a long 4 month waste.

It would be quite fitting for the Chefs to ruin my festivities.

looks like a long 4 month waste
Agreed, anyone who cheers against a team just to be an a-hole and no other reason...I hope you lose your money every time.

Me on the other hand...cashed in 2 fantasy football leagues and finished the season strong thanks to Charles. :yahoo: :yahoo:

agreed, but he took over an 8-8 team, haley and Pioli took over a 2-14 team, thats a huge difference

Come on now Fever, they got rid of the main problem the former GM. This team is still made up of his past draft mistakes. I believe they will turn it around, Rome wasn't built in a day now.

I was hoping that the Chiefs would play the spoiler today and they didn't let me down - unlike most of the regular season. Even better, they did it to Denver.
"If you're going to do it, you're going to do it right," athletic director Jim Schaus said. "If we're going to put 'Wichita State' across our chest, then every team is going to matter."

As much as we need draft picks, I would still take a knockout win over Denver anyday. Plus, I don't think the win will have much effect on our 1st round choice. Washington moved ahead of us and the experts are saying they will be going after a quarterback.

                    Draft Order:
                    1. St. Louis (1-15)
                    2. Detroit (2-14)
                    3. Tampa Bay (3-13)
                    4. Washington (4-12)
                    5. Kansas City (4-12)
                    6. Seattle (5-11)
                    7. Cleveland (5-11)
                    8. Oakland (5-11)
                    9. Buffalo (6-10)
                    10. Jacksonville (7-9)

Of course, football is my favorite sport and I've been a Chiefs fan ever since I was a kid. My father is a Redskins fan, so as a kid you looked up to your old man. But, I didn't want to mimic him and be a Redskin fan so I picked the Chiefs since they were a Native American mascot too.

Baseball is my second favorite sport and basketball is third. I have to be honest, I didn't start following college basketball and more importantly Shocker basketball until the late 80's. Not because I didn't care about the Shox, because basketball was on the back burner when it came to sports.

Anyway, don't throw stones Mr. Fever, you're not exactly Mr. Happy-Go-Lucky yourself when the Shox demonstrate questionable performances on the court and in the field.

a little props to Jamaal Charles, he had 968 rushing yards in the 2nd half of the season, including breaking Larry Johnson single game franchise record yesterdsy. He has become the first back in NFL history to gain 1100 rushing yards with fewer than 200 carries. :good:

Ugh, I hate seeing stuff like this. I picked up JC on the free agent waiver wire in my fantasy league and cut him two weeks later after some unremarkable games and the uncertainty of whether KC would go to a running back by committee style.

Since I am in a keeper league, I am regretting cutting him loose over and over.

Chiefs were 4-6 in their last 10 games, Broncos were 2-8. Not sure I would be that happy with McDaniels.

If there was only 2 QB's left for fantasy football draft (Orton and Cassel), who would you draft and why?

                              Ah, now it makes sense.

I'm hard on my team when they underperform yes. But it's just funny how I've never heard that much negativity towards your Chiefs when they've sucked for 3 years now and in a season where WSU is 13-2, you're all over them a lot.

What were the record of both teams in their first 6 games?

You can snip and clip at the stats you want to see, but when it comes down to it, the Broncos finished 8-8 and the Chiefs finished 4-12.
