Monday night into Tuesday of next week we will see our first real winter storm. Much of the area could possibly see their first accumulating snowfall of the season. The worst snowfall being in central Kansas. The NWS has already put in the "Snow Likely" for almost all of KICT forecast area. They even took it a step further by adding "Blowing Snow" to the forecast. Stay tuned because if the cold air can not get pushed back by the warm gulf air as much as the models are showing it being right now then we could be looking at a wide area of nice accumulating snow fall
They also issued this tidbit for after the storm
As it is with weather stay tuned things can change.....the local channels will be all over this so I am sure you will not be left out of the loop. It all depends on the track of the storm
They also issued this tidbit for after the storm
