    Wichita NWS Forecast Discussion

    THE SREF/NAM
SOLUTIONS ARE TRACKING THIS UPPER LEVEL WAVE A LITTLE FURTHER SOUTH
WHICH WOULD FAVOR HEAVIER SNOW AMOUNTS IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS MAY NOT BE OUT OF THE WOODS
YET...ESPECIALLY IF THIS SYSTEM TRACKS A LITTLE FURTHER SOUTH.
Pretty Much they don't know how much more wobbling this storm will do....if more models agree with the two that show it going further south they are thinking about issuing a WSWatch for the rest S Central KS.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

I predict you have a equal chance of being wrong (or right) as the NWS.

How yall like that SNOW that I told you about....

I will give you a little synopsis of what I expect coming up. Take it for what its worth

It looks like we have entered the October pattern again with the Cold air diving into the four corners region then drifting east. Looks like we will have times of relaxation and times of cold and potentially stormy weather. Don't sleep on thanksgiving just yet...things need to be "ironed" out with that forecast. I will let you know if it looks like it might get stormy again

Yea, if it were me I would love to get a foot or two of snow but a few flakes about two and half weeks earlier than average is nice too

I saw a few flakes but it was pretty much nothing but rain here. Apparently it went all around my town but pretty much avoided us.

This wasn't a snow. More like a wet wintry mix.
