I can't speak for rrshock, but I do think the Republicans will make up ground next November. Not sure if they'll take over one, I doubt it, but there could be enough of them to slow things down or stop some things. There are some Dems who aren't completely down with all of this and if there were a few more of them or more GOP members it will help.

Although the Dems will just use whatever rule it was they recently used to push healthcare through with no debate to get around some of this stuff.

The GOP will not take the House or Senate next year.

They will make gains in the House and it is unclear in the Senate.

Next year's Senate map just isn't good for the GOP regardless of political climate. It would be great to knock off Chris Dodd.

RJL, I'm confused again....Why is it now called "climate change" instead of "global warming"?

Could it be that the same yahoos who were warning us of the next "ice age" in the 70's are the same yahoos who were telling us of "global warming" in the 00's? Have they finally figured out that the earth's temperature is cyclical and are to proud to admit they were wrong? Or have they simply noticed that the recent trend is that we are in a global cooling cycle right now and they are still looking to further their agenda of socialism?

Whatever happened to common sense? I don't know of anyone who wants dirty air and water. If people would just follow the simplistic approach of a boyscout and leave the "campsite" cleaner than they found it a lot of issues would be solved. In the meantime the political agenda that is being furthered under this hoax is going to ruin what is left of a once great nation....OURS!
