With the off day tomorrow they are skipping HoRam in the rotation. :yahoo: So we'll be sending our best three up against the Texas offense, which leads the AL in homeruns. Our offense really needs to get on track for that series.

As for 5th-starter prospects, Bannister had a good game last night: 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K. Hochevar had a decent start (though only 1 K, which is disconcerting) and Heath Phillips is looking pretty good after a solid spring. Even Duckworth had a strong start in Omaha.

I have a friend who went and watched the O-Royals play the Isotopes this past weekend and he was very impressed with Phillips.

I don't know, but we're down 1-0 going into the bottom of the 3rd. Had the bases with 1 out in the 1st but came up empty. How's this for lineup oddities . . .
