"We'll have the negotiations televised on C-SPAN, so that people can see who is making arguments on behalf of their constituents, and who are making arguments on behalf of the drug companies or the insurance companies," he said then.

my co-worker in Hutch drove his American "clunker" to Olathe and traded it in on a Hyundai.

A little OT, but I had a family member walk onto a new car lot (that sells American cars) to buy a used car. He said "I have $3000 to spend, what do you have." The reply was, "due to the cash-for-clunkers program we can't accept less than $4500". If other "American" car lots are feeding this kind of BS to potential customers, I don't doubt that people aren't buying American cars.

ShockerGorilla I agree 1000%, with one exception...instead of "so you never know if you are getting the full story" it should just read "you are never getting the full story."
