    According to KWCH, they are switching over regardless. I suspect most local stations have enough invested in this that they're going to honor the original switchover date.

        No, it's probably because Wichita isn't affected as much as the larger cities. We're sheltered from everything going on in the rest of the United States here. When the housing market crashed, we were just fine. When the economy hit the down turn, we weren't really effected (except for losing money in the stock market... :( ). People have been losing their jobs for a couple years now, it's just now hitting us. Our poverty level here is much much lower than other cities our size or larger, so we aren't going to see as much of a problem with people being uninformed or not having help to do something as simple as switch over to digital.
