Cessna Stadium was originally on WSU's list and to their credit, WSU removed it.

You`ll have to put it back on the list if the football program comes back.

Then WSU and its fans should pay for it, not Kansas taxpayers.

Agreed ABC, as long as that same line of thinking applies to other state supported schools. If it doesn't than why is WSU excluded from their fair share? WSU is in the state's largest city.
During the last few years of WSU football, the Shox had some success in beating Oklahoma State, and KU, and had lined up to play KSU at Cessna Stadium. Enrollment was approaching K-State's level.

Football is good for WSU, the campus, the alumns, and the state's largest city. Wichita State should not be excluded from taxpayers help if that same help is being given to KSU, KU, etc...

It's sad really, that the Shocker program survived the plane crash, established a legacy in hiring the first black head coach of a Div 1A football program, but couldn't survive the insecurity of the Kansas Board of Regents.
