  • To be honest, if Crennell delined the job, then this is prolly the best we could get.

    • Rams release Veteran Torry Holt

        • Reasoning for the Free Agency Stall in the AFC West
Teams that avoid the free-agent trap typically have strong drafts, with the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Steelers, an outstanding example. The Patriots, too, have stood out in the draft, and selectively used free agency and trades while winning three Super Bowls since 2001.

Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli seems to be taking the same approach to roster building he helped execute for nine years in New England. As player personnel director, he was able to draft enough talent to minimize the need to spend big in free agency.

          • Chiefs are suppoly having a press conference at 4:30 today to announce a Free agent signing, but nobody knows who it is.

There are not many big names left, although Julius Peppers has been being shopped and could be traded to the Patriots soon for our second round pick. I don't know if that will happen for just one pick though.

                • What position does Engram play?

                  • I could see them maybe going after Pace but the other two don't make a lot of sense. Holt doesn't seem to be quite the game changer he once was and Engram is about done. I'd rather stick with the guys we have. I think Bradley would be just as if not more productive right now.

                      • I hear Bobby and Orland have a double masters in Disabled List Management.

I would love to have Holt in Kansas City.

                        • Pace would be the best pick-up for our situation. How old is Pace btw?

                              • Who the hell is Cooper? Biesel should give us a good ST guy. Other than that I'm not sure what this does for us. Engram doesn't really add much at this point.
