If it interferes with the quality of the air I or my young children breath in a public place it is a problem. Non smokers should not have to breath smoke when they go to a basketball game.

Everyday you hear about this town or that town passing a smoking ban. I wonder how long it takes before we take all of "the smokers" and start putting them into Smokers Camps to keep them out of our society??? Those smokers by the way account for approximately 20 percent of the population. 42 million in the US in 2007. I think that smoking is bad and is a health risk and that is why I quit but I feel that smokers make that choice to smoke on their own. Laws shouldn't do that for them.

As others have mentioned, if you wanna shorten your life by several years and die a death of lung cancer, go for it! But when your by-product, and residue - the second hand smoke - that exits your mouth and cig enters my body it becomes a problem for me.

The original complaint wasn't even about "second hand smoke blown in your face." It was about the smell of smoke in the ladies bathroom. Blowing smoke in someones face is stupid. Thats clearly not what is being talked about on this topic.

It was a good crowd and I was surpised (delighted) when they were showing the game on all 3 of thier projection screens. Will definately go back if there are more games we don't get on COX.

If I can smell it, it's in my face. It's doing about the same amount of damage. Maybe I worded it kinda badly, but either way, most people don't like the smell of cancer in their nostrils, nor on their clothing, or in their kids' lungs.

Alright. I completely agree that smoking is bad. That is why I quit. Second hand smoke is bad. I don't consider being able to smell smoke as the same thing as blowing it in someones face. I just think that complaining about people smoking in their designated area who are not doing anything that is illegal is sad. Again, just my opinion and I am not trying to target anyone in particular with my statements. I think it is the smoker in me that was getting upset. Anyway, Larry Buds was good. The Shockers tonight...Not so much.

Sorry Charlie! Over the years I’ve lost too many good friends to lung cancer and other smoking related illnesses. Yes, I have a ‘holier than thou attitude’ about this topic... I’m sorry, ‘smoking stinks’!

That was a ramble with a lot of nonsense in it. No one's gonna ***** about clean air. Normal people will ***** about inhaling cancerous fumes. Is it really that much to ask to ask someone who's killing themselves to not take the rest of us down with them?

And I don't think most people inside Koch Arena taking their kids to the bathroom have a 'holier than thou' attitude for not wanting to breathe that crap. They just don't wanna stink and die. That's pretty fair IMO.

are we forgetting about Fox and Hound, home of the official watch party for the Shocks, they will have it on.

I jumped on that bandwagon a few years ago and quickly jumped off after several horrendously greasy and nauseating meals.

I will say that I have some lasting memories in that place as it was the location where I enjoyed our second round NCAA victory over Tennessee! Wow we got that little T.V. room rockin' that night!
