I have traveled all over the world, tonight the US just gained much respect in the worlds eyes! 8)

And why should I or any American give a rat's ass? Ooooo, some Frenchie thinks all the world's problems were just solved? LOL Whenever one of these countries EVER comes to our aid in a time of need, I'll care about how they "feel" about one of our elections. Until then, they can keep their hands out their traps SHUT.

the problem with Bush is that he didn't swing far to the right. He did some things right, (cut taxes and defend our country) but he allowed congress to spend like drunken liberals.

If this country is going to suck so bad with Obama being President, haul your asses off to Canada, Europe or wherever else you see fit. Regardless who is President, this is still the greatest country on earth, be a Patriot instead of bickering about who got elected. God and Country in that order people.

Thinking like this is exactly what allows our country to drop so fast. Better than Canada or Europe? Way to set the bar high.

We shouldn't be happy when we lose ground in the direction of socialist nations. We should only rejoice when our freedoms and liberties increase and our government become less of a burden on the taxpayer. Regardless of who won tonight, there would be no happy celebration in my house, only different degrees of sadness.

For someone who rails against others for celebrating medicority in Shocker sports, I'm surprised you would take this stance with regard to our country.

I'm sad tonight. This country was already headed in the worng direction and now it's taken a turn for the worst. Both candidates royally sucked and weren't going to help this country one bit. I didn't vote for either one of these yahoo's as I want to be able to live with myself for the rest of my life.

I just pray that after the democrat controled gov't screws up this country that the GOP will pick a quality conservative candidate that will put this country back on track.

And why the hell should we care what the rest of the world thinks? The rest of the world only cares about us if we're GIVING them money and whatever else they need. And most the time they still despise us even though we give away trillions of dollars worth of aid.

Unemployment is going to go up. Look to Rhode Island to see where this country is headed.

The American people have just voted to let the gov't run their lives and it sickens me. I may just have to cry myself to sleep tonight.
