Obama’s economic plan is not a “tax cut” per se….it is redistribution of wealth --- it is, as promised, a check in the mail not a rate cut. The more I learn about Obama the more socialist I believe he is…..if I am wrong please let me know.

Notwithstanding, ask yourself this if you take Obama at face value – given his public stance on taxes – how does he intend to pay for all the social programs and otherwise that he seems to think the federal government should finance?

More healthcare, more welfare, more economic bail-outs, more programs, more spending

higher taxes for all, not just those over the $250,000 or increased federal debt. Those are the only two options.

He can promise to only increase taxes on those that already pay the lions-share, but there's no way he can do it with a balanced budget, unless we all pay more.

If you tax the rich even more then they will not spend as much in their businesses - i.e. payroll and capital investment. Not to mention spiking capital gains taxes will bring the stock market and investing to a halt. In a nutshell if the rich ratchet down their spending and investments then it will only hurt the national economy.
