She was nothing short of AMAZING. I talked to both of my parents afterwards. Mom thought she was brilliant and better than expected after me talking her up for months. Dad was a major skeptic about her but now wants to vote her in as President.

The people have now gotten to see Sarah Palin and gotten to know her a little. I'm convinced that she made a lot of fans tonight and won the hearts of many Americans.

The future is bright!!!

I have been laughing nearly constantly since McCain chose Palin wondering what in the world he could have been thinking. Considering how much forethought went into his selection process he got damned lucky. She seems to be quite charismatic and bright and the people will elect who they like. The McCain campaign just won a lot of "likability" votes me thinks.

Still, she gives new meaning to the term outsider. She totally levels the playing field with the Obama campaign in regards to noobiness. If McCain could have stomached Romney they would have been a strong strong choice.

While I thought she was a good speaker, I was listening for her to actually tell us her positions on issues. I didn't hear it. All I heard was fluff. I quit listening about 5 minutes before the end to watch more of Ron Paul's speech at the Rally for the Republic Tuesday night.

My gut tells me she has sold out her conservative positions so she can be compatible with McCain.

Piper is great. Was she not loving being on stage at the end of the night? She'll make a few more highlights before it's all said and done. And the licking of the hand to fix Trig's hair was fantastic.
