  • After looking at those games and the way they need to come out, I think 4 are very possible, but I still hope that the Rams pull their heads out and beat Atlanta so that KC doesn't have to have a miracle happen to get that #2 pick.

And so help me if the Chiefs actually win this week. I wouldn't be able to take it. I have grown accustomed to them losing, and would expect nothing else at this point. Herm needs to go and a 2-14 season would surely solidify that.

    • The problem with picking offensive line is that our holes are on the right side of the line, and you can get those holes taken care of later in the draft. You just dont take a guy to play RT with the 2nd or 3rd overall pick, that is not good value at all.

Unless it was Jake Long. He was worth the pick that Miami used on him.

        • We either need another OL who can step in and play like Albert did or we need a DE/LB. I don't follow college football all that closely so I don't know what's out there that would be worth the 2nd/3rd pick.

I'm with you, it doesn't matter who's QB if he's always on his back

            • I think we get Andre Smith (OT) from Alabama if he is there. If he is gone, and at 3 he probably would be, we get Aaron Curry (OLB) from Wake Forest or Aaron Maybin (DE) from Penn State.

If Smith is gone, and we don't like those players at 3, then I say we get Crabtree. I know, I know. We have Bowe, and Bradley has played pretty well. But Bradley would be a great 3rd receiver. Imagine a defense trying to match up with Bowe on one side, Crabtree on the other, Bradley in the slot and TG at TE.

Thigpin could be All-Pro......ok very long stretch there.

I have had that conversation with some friends. You give that kind of explosiveness to the offense and it could really help things out. The O-Line isn't near as bad as it was last year. Or maybe Thigpen's mobility just makes it look that way since he's not getting drilled as much as the other QBs.

I wouldn't be opposed to Crabtree although he wouldn't be my first choice.

Smith is on the top of my wish list, well he moved up to there following my early x-mas present from Clark Hunt, and I haven't seen Curry or Maybin play, but most boards have them pretty high. I think we have our new GM and coach announced before draft day. With the 2nd pick, we get Smith. With the 3rd there is no telling.

Remember, according to Herm, there was not a Franchise QB in last years draft. LOL!

While Stafford does look good, I say we stick with Thigpen and upgrade his protection, or add another target.

And while I really hate to say it, I think it is time for Gunther to move on also. I will miss him.

                  • I think if a franchise type of QB isnt there, then we should get Brian Orapko DE from Texas, the guy is a freak.

Not rooting for those podunks. :D

Broncos can lose next 3 (Wont happen) & Chargers win next 3 (Might happen) then those 2 teams are tied for division. I still say the Broncos have won the division.

Chiefs should finish season with 2 wins & plan to get good picks during the draft. I`ve heard an ESPN analyst say the Chiefs will draft Bradford out of OU.
                          Karma, karma, karma.... :D

                              • As bad as it was, they really weren't that far from a .500 team. A lot of close losses this year which really shouldn't be unexpected with such a young team. Not to mention the number of injuries that sidetracked the team. I know they only had two wins, and how they found ways to lose a number of games was frustrating, but I feel it really wasn't as bad as it looks and as some make it out to be.
