Well the schedule pretty easy so im gonna say around 6-10 and maybe 7-9. This year record doesnt mean a whole lot to me this year, unless we surprise people and make some playoff run. But i just wanna see us, especially the young guys improve.

I think a lot depends on how long Brodie is out. He may not be THE man of the future, I don't know. But he gives the Chiefs the best shot right now. Luckily, the Chiefs next two games can be won. Although if that happens I'm sure we'll get a bunch of people say that's proof that Brodie sucks and whoever was QBing is better.

As I said before, Brodie is not the future of this team, his decision making is questionable at best. There is a reason that he is not allowed to throw the ball down field, and that's because the offensive coordinator doesn't trust him to make good decisions. Huard has been far more impressive than any quarterback the Chiefs have had over the past 3 or 4 years. I agree with the article that said that the Chiefs have been set back 3 years wasting time on Brodie. Simply put, the Chiefs need a quarterback. Brodie is not the answer, and Huard will only be a short term solution. Everybody knows Huard is at his best as a backup.

The Chiefs should beat Oakland on Sunday, as Oakland looked like crap against Denver. Then we play Atlanta, who looked solid against Detroit. Granted, Detroit probably isn't much better than Oakland. I don't want to make anymore predictions on this team. Best case for them might be to lose 12 games or so and get themselves a top pick in the draft, then go out and draft a real quarterback, someone that can change the future of this team.

7-9 would be a disaster. The best thing for this team is to get another top 5 pick. Mediocrity does not put you in a favorable position to significantly upgrade your weaknesses (i.e. draft a real QB prospect) and build a solid base on both sides of the ball. I’ll say this – if Croyle does turn out to be the guy that leads the Chiefs into the playoffs and beyond then it will be one of the most shocking player developments I’ve ever witnessed. Put me in the camp that shares the belief that Croyle has set this team back a few years. Don’t get me wrong it’s not his fault; it’s just that when you put most of your eggs in one basket then the risk a failure has repercussions. If they don’t beat the hapless Raiders in Arrowhead then 7-9 is very unlikely and they’re well on their way to top 5 pick.

In one of the only games they will probably be favored to win all year, in a game I actually had picked them to win in my weekly picks pool, the Chefs flunk miserably.

Sorry, newshock, but this team IS the worst team in the NFL and will be lucky to win 2 games this year. 7-9? LOL. Ain't gonna happen.

I'm gonna say it now. Herm needs to be fired. And it needs to happen quickly. Peterson needs to as well. I don't want to here the QB BS that people will spew out. This team SUCKS!!!! and will be lucky to win one if they continue to play like this.

I beleive Herm took the job knowing he had to "rebuild" the team and the process given the lack of financial commitment from Kraft family means the team will stink for the next three to four seasons ina best case scenario. :cry:
