    Yea, that's a non-biased account. [/sarcasm]

Anyone who calls McCain "far-right" on something is obviously looking at him from the other side of the spectrum.

What comments about Obama have been ill-informed?

I think McCain was a democratic deep plant by the DNC. I mean this is a win-win election for the liberals and atheists.

It's really sad that he's still a better option than Obama. The next four years aren't going to be much fun.

McCain is a worse option than Obama. McCain will continue and repeat many of the errors of the Bush administration. McCain's campaign is a "Karl Rove" campaign; in order to be elected, John has sold his soul to the same cadre of political operatives that ran the Bush administration.

Who will be the Monica Goodling of a McCain administration? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/0..._n_118423.html

Which civil rights will be lost under McCain? (e.g. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...010100428.html)

SB Shock: Thanks for the laugh.

The Clinton administration tried (unsuccessfully) to take out Osama bin Laden and stopped the 2000 millennium attack plots (e.g. bombing of Los Angeles International Airport). The Bush administration was asleep at the switch before 9/11/01. Since then, the administration has not eliminated Al Qaeda.

Al Qaeda is more capable of attacking inside the United States than it was last year, and its cadre of senior leaders has recruited and trained “dozens” of militants capable of blending into Western society to carry out attacks, the analyst said.

Of course, McCain is a foreign policy expert: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/0..._n_114013.html
McCain is also unwilling to go after Al Qaeda in Pakistan.

I did love how Clinton handled terrorists. Randomly launch a couple of missles at some tent in the middle of the desert and be done with it.

                        Aftermath
After the attack on The Sullivans failed, al-Qaeda tried the same type of attack a second time. They successfully bombed USS Cole on October 12, 2000.
While in prison, Ressam revealed that al-Qaeda sleeper cells existed within the United States. This information was included in the famous Presidential Daily Briefing delivered to President Bush on August 6, 2001, entitled "Bin Ladin Determined To Strike in US".

No, they didn't. Summary of Al-Qaida Attack under Clinton.

                          1. World Trade Center Car Bomb
                          2. Khobar Towers car bombing in Saudi Arabia
                          3. U.S. Embassy Kenya
                          4. U.S. Cole
                          5. Somalia

The Clinton response was to lob a few cruise missiles at empty camps in Afghanistan and to cut and run in Somalia instead of taking the fight to them.

2000 millinnium attack plot was broken up by Jordan and a lucky INS agent who saw that Ressam was nervous and had him stopped for more detailed check. Ressam panicked and tried to run away. That allowed for his detention and the subseqent inspection of his possesion and car.

McCain is also unwilling to go after Al Qaeda in Pakistan.
I suspect if your expecting direct intervention of U.S. forces in Pakistan, it doesn't matter what president it is, it is not going to happen due to the domestic political problems. There will continue to be the covert battle going on where U.S. forces attack target of opportunities.

I do have one question - if there is sleeper cells in the U.S. then why have they not struck? What are they waiting for a democratic president to be elected so they know there won't be any retribution.

You bleeding heart Obamaists are going to get exactly what you deserve and we all are going to pay for it.

You guys are rarely on the right side of any topic, but God bless your effort.

4 good years with BA will promise a decade of trying to right the ship...hopefully from a fiscally responsible conservative movement.

Whose it going to be in the #2 spot? I really hope it's Joe Biden......then I can go from saying I have to take an LB to I have to take a Biden.

Will he get more hair plugs as VP?
