McCain is a worse option than Obama. McCain will continue and repeat many of the errors of the Bush administration. McCain's campaign is a "Karl Rove" campaign; in order to be elected, John has sold his soul to the same cadre of political operatives that ran the Bush administration.

The Clinton administration tried (unsuccessfully) to take out Osama bin Laden and stopped the 2000 millennium attack plots (e.g. bombing of Los Angeles International Airport). The Bush administration was asleep at the switch before 9/11/01. Since then, the administration has not eliminated Al Qaeda.

The Clinton response was to lob a few cruise missiles at empty camps in Afghanistan and to cut and run in Somalia instead of taking the fight to them.

2000 millinnium attack plot was broken up by Jordan and a lucky INS agent who saw that Ressam was nervous and had him stopped for more detailed check. Ressam panicked and tried to run away. That allowed for his detention and the subseqent inspection of his possesion and car.

I suspect if your expecting direct intervention of U.S. forces in Pakistan, it doesn't matter what president it is, it is not going to happen due to the domestic political problems. There will continue to be the covert battle going on where U.S. forces attack target of opportunities.

I do have one question - if there is sleeper cells in the U.S. then why have they not struck? What are they waiting for a democratic president to be elected so they know there won't be any retribution.
