Very agitated cu forming just east of Wichita.

I've noticed watching the last 30 minutes that surface winds and 850 cloud movement is now backing, almost from the due south, with maybe even a slightly east slant. Dry line could be stalling and/or retreating.

      Interesting.

There's so many complex processes occurring right over the city as we speak.
      Deuces Valley.
      ... No really, deuces.

              Ah gotcha. Duh.

And Wichita is under a tornado watch til 9. Pretty much the central chunk of the state.

                      • And we have a tornado warning for the cell in Sumner County. The pictures of the wall cloud and Rainfree base on it are impressive.

Started to take more a of a right turn recently so I'm not surprised.

                          Either way we're screwed.
I'm reminded of the following scene from The Revenge of the Nerds; the 'weathermen' are the Booger's... :)

                              • I would say at this point, the tornado threat is close to being over for SC KS.
