I still think the tornado threat is not as high as the hail threat, especially with winds in Wichita being from the SW rather than the NE. That hasn't changed. I think that the dryline will stall just west or almost right over Wichita and allow storms to form around 4-6PM. The upper level winds are almost due south, so even if the storms form just west or just south west of Wichita they shoud be moving more NNE rather than SW-NE. Wichita is by no means in the clear from large hail, but the tornado threat is looking less and less.

I do think the best severe potential is in NE/NC KS.

I have no clue what most of this stuff means. Anybody here translate it into weather for dummies for me?

This is where the just throw out a bunch of babble to make it look like they know something, but in reality they have no clue what is going to happen. Either that or they do know what is going to happen, but they won't tell us because we're weather morons.

                  Either way we're screwed.

The skew-t is indicative of torsional lift that will dissipate after the arrival of the second horseman of John's Book of Revelation.

Or so I have been told.

Do you have an idea of the dryline location?

Just over Wichita, but like I said, it might not be too big of an issue for hail and wind threat because storms are going to form along the dry line and then move almost due north.
