By default Americans believe we worked for what we have, I am sure no one would have a face if they said you were given your career. But I am sure the last time you were on public TV for doing something silly, you would probably say there were prettier faces than you with better decision making skills.
If he's so wrong, where are the homely female correspondents? Pointing out the obvious isn't sexist.

Those women may have some degree of talent, but they were, in some part, given what they have based on their looks, which was none of their own doing.

By default, Americans believe we worked for what we have? I will give you a pass for that one because you have yet to experience just how cynical we can all be. And in a lot of cases, we are probably justified.

I'd hire her, right now. For anything. Sexist? Maybe, but it is the hottie in ad sales that make all the money. They can't figure costs based on CPM's, can't decipher demos, but sell on looks. Ive known a few, seriously, that slept for sales.

      Life ain't fair, boys!
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

My whole argument isn't about that she is a woman. I think it is a red herring, mostly by my doing. I think she earned a 4yr degree from a solid school, and I usually don't think the other men on the show banged their boss to get the show. Nor do I believe Stephen A Smith was hired for his looks. I say she earned it.

My argument, which I red herring'd, is that she should not be suspended or fire because she was caught being a Jerk. I think I have squabbled with a few people once in a while, but I don't think I could get fired for it. His argument is that she is on TV, and therefore more scrutinized. (Which is why i say he brought sex into the matter when he said there are prettier faces than her). Just because Tim Tebow has a job on TV, then goes out and makes a big butt out of himself, that he is supposed to be fired.

It's silly. We see Kobe Bryant on TV everyday after multiple reported rape allegations/slandering/and a whole bunch of crap, should we take his job? It's an issue that faces sports and TV in general. Should Adrian Peterson not get to play anymore? No. We've found that out. Should he have been suspended? Maybe until due process was achieved. There isn't even a crime with this lady. She was just caught being a prissy biotch.

Personally, I don't like people who do things like Kobe and Peterson and have no interest in their success or lack of. But how many people on the planet can do what they do? Very, very few. How many can do what this ESPN chick can do? Quite a few. If you're easily replaceable, you get less latitude. That's the real world.

You can't compare men and women in sports "journalism" because men aren't hired to be eye candy for other men (the primary audience by a significant margin). The women are. They just have to be able to not sound like an idiot and look pretty. If they truly are talented and know their stuff, it's gravy.

People get fired all the time for what they do in their private lives. You may or may not remember the CEO of an Arizona company who got fired for recording himself being an ass to a Chik-fil-A employee in a drive through.

And speaking of red herrings, what's your beef with Tebow?

It literally was the only non-coach male I could come up with. No beef, hes just been in my newsfeed lately.
And you point makes sense until you start beefing with my women men comparison. That is totally sexist. The men on SC or on the football sidelines are not any less replacable. Looks aside.

And also, you are probably right about some of your stuff. the last thing i will rebuttal is the CEO. CEO represent companies from top to bottom. Being fired for being mean to entre level employing while a CEO makes sense. It would like saying this ESPN analyst went out and critized an athlete, or another analyst.
