There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Good for you guys. You deserve a little rain. 1.5 inches of rain in the last 45 minutes in my back yard and its still raining. We don't need anymore rain tonight, but we are supposed to have storms throuout the night. I love a good thunder storm. I still need a new roof but I got zero hail...

Knowing ICT's luck the storms will break up and one will go south and one will go north. Trending that way.

Tornado warning issued on the portion of the storm headed toward Wichita, but it's still two counties to the west.

Do the small cluster of cells in the Oklahoma panhandle not know that they are supposed to be moving east?

Went to bed last night seeing that nice big, long, and wide (uh...) wall of storms just about 40 miles west of Wichita. Thought to myself that I'd probably wake up to a rain gauge containing at least something. Got up and looked at the rain gauge - not even a 1/4". Watched the overnight radar replay on KWCH, and that big wall of storms got to the outskirts of west Wichita and went "PSYCH!". It looked so intentional that it was kind of funny.

Still doing my part to single-handedly deplete Cheney Lake via my sprinkler system.

Yeah I sat up and watched it .... it was headed due east the entire time .... I mean a bee-line for Wichita. Then as it approaches Sedgwick County it suddenly decides to go Northeast. WTH?!

Yeah, I'm not Weather Guy, but I watched the direction of movement and growth of that storm line last night, and thought there was no way that one was going to miss us.

                              Wrong.

It's the "DOFO" curse, but DOFO no longer exsists, only the legend carried on by Daniel Bryan!
