I'm half Indian and half white. The Redskins name doesn't really offend me and I've never heard it used in a derogatory way. It's just always been the name of the football team in Washington D.C. There are teams called the Patriots, Cowboys, Texans, 49ers, etc. so Indian mascots don't bother me. The exception is Chief Wahoo (Cleveland Indians mascot). I wonder why people like Costas and Peter King are just now getting offended by the name.
