If you like movies based true stories I would recommend October Sky and The Perfect Game. Also the Greatest Game Ever Played although I don't know if that is really that obscure.
On the fictional side I don't know that I would call Soda Springs seriously good and, in fact, it kind of drags but I have to say the ending did kind of catch me by surprise.

“Into the white” on Netflix , awesome WW2 true story
For real a good movie? I'm gonna cue it up now. If you're wrong...
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
Subtitles. ****... I want to watch movies, not read them!

Movie was good, not seriously good. Interesting but slow at times.

Into the Wild with Emile Hirsch. For those that like the outdoors and the adventurous (albeit foolish) spirit this is a great movie for you. Some of you might find it too hippie for your liking but I absolutely LOVE it.
