K-State up 10 with about 10 minutes left

  • #2
C'mon KU! They gotta beat K-Suck, if they don't we gotta here KSU fans state that we are the worst program in the state and how they are too good to play us now. At least KU has got tradition and history to back up what they say, KSU ain't got squat and now all of a sudden think they're a perennial Top 25 team and their 20 year hiatus never occurred.

I don't care. I don't want either of these teams in the top 10....

Well, the most embarassing streak in the entire history of amateur athletics is over.

I think the previous longest streak was the Romans' domination of Macedonia in catapulting. The Macedonians had lost 25 straight matches to the Romans until the world's greatest rock loader was crushed during the second round of the world championship playoffs.

Congrats to the Cats. And now we'll have a post from Saul in 3, 2, 1...

Hat tip to KSU. If Beasley shoots 100% from three-point range for the rest of the year, they'll probably win it all. Top ten team, easily. Beasley is a better player than Durant, no question.

That said, I can't wait to get them in AFH. That will be a fun day.

What does it say about college basketball when freshmen win player of the year back to back? A great move by the NBA, but is the NCAA really benefitting from this? I think college baseball's got the right idea. Go pro or stick it out for a few years.

It was a good game and the KSU fresman are impressive.

Maybe this will shut Chris Piper's pie hole for a bit.

Yeah, but it opens Kevin Keitzman's a little more.

I'm not sure there is a winner in this.

Kevin Keitzman pie hole stays open like a street walker on nickel night.

Indy, would you say that KSU has the better talent?

A little more? Keitzman will never stop talking about this one.

KU still has the best team in terms of top to bottom talent, but there is no doubt that KSU has some superior individual components. KSU certainly looked like they had the better talent last night, I'll say thay much though. They kicked our tails. I liked our gameplan on Beasley, they just made a lot of tough shots. Bucknell did the same thing and I don't think they were more talented. That was not KU's A game, but I think it was KSU's. I think we'll get them in Lawrence.

It actually looked like Frank could coach last night. Maybe we actually underestimated his abilities. And I agree with Indy. If Beasley shoots like that the rest of the year, no one is going to stop them. They got KU's big guys all in foul trouble, which posed even bigger problems.

                              When is the rematch?
