Been moving snow all day just to get cars out. But as you said, we need the moisture and getting it in any form is OK.

Minimal drifting in town. I spoke with a farmer friend who told me there some problems in rural areas because the wind blew generally easterly for much of the time while it was snowing. Shelter belts and any snow fencing are set-up to deal with north winds, so many rural roads are drifted over differently than they're used to.

When the city crews clear Main St. in Buhler they pile snow in the middle of the street. So some local youth made an igloo.

There's a huge pile outside the fire department in Benton that someone decided to make a giant fire hydrant out of. I didn't see the finished product as it was being worked on as I headed home.
