        They have petitioned the bankruptcy court to allow them to proceed with liquidation. Hard to say who will acquire what and what parts of the company will be salvaged and what parts won't. The main brands may very well survive as part of another company.

                I trust that something will survive. Just what is the question. They did it to themselves. To lose a job is
                terrible. But to lose it this way is just plain stupid.

                      Twinkies will hit store shelves nationally by late July, Michael Cramer, executive vice president of Hostess Brands LLC told NBC News on Thursday. "We expect to be making and selling in July," he said. "Probably the later half of the month before the product hits the stores."
