I would consider it embarrassing to admit I liked (which I don’t) any of the following:

    Disco of any sort
    Boy George
    Milli Vanilli

    Jackass
Any reality show where the main characters find solace in Botox, cheating on their partners, or backstabbing their friends
    Beaches

Music oddities for many would include:

All things Classical (Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Wagner, Stravinsky, Vivaldi, Schubert, and others)
          Gordon Lightfoot

And why would anyone have to be embarrassed by classical music? More people should listen to it. Maybe there wouldn't be as many misfits running (ruining?) things if we had more critical thinking persons in positions of authority.

And Gordon Lightfoot is an icon.

As to classical music, it's just not generally popular and I'm not sure I'm friends with anyone that listens to it ever. I don't listen to it a ton, but I'm constantly cycling through my music and there are times when it's just right.

I'm not even sure if most of my friends know who Gordon Lightfoot is. I was the weird kid back in I think middle school that discovered him and then bought a greatest hits CD. His voice and ability to tell a story are superb.

And again, I'm not embarrassed by any of it, just some artists and such that generally draw strange looks from friends or even a rolling of the eyes.
Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

Carpenter Place - A blessing to many young girls/women
ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.
Save Shocker Sports - A rallying cry

Lightfoot was a genius songwriter, in depth with his storytelling and metaphors.

Maybe you need a new set of friends. LOL

I rarely get embarrassed by entertainment choices I make. I don't think I've ever felt like that. I think my mother would tell you and anyone else that I raised myself.

Now if the topic was guilty pleasures, well, there would probably be more things to share across the board.

Gordon Lightfoot and Neil Diamond. Both artists can take you places you've seldom been... I nearly tear-up listening to their music.

One of Neil Diamond's best... I recall him having some struggles during his career, possibly depression. He's currently battling Parkinsons.

                      Powerful lyrics:

"Did you ever read about a frog who dreamed of bein' a king
                      And then became one
Well, except for the names and a few other changes
If you talk about me, the story's the same one"

                        I’m down with the clown.

But also amazed some Millenials this past week when they were discussing classical music. Couldn’t believe that not only did I know Fur Elise, but can actually play (badly) a (very) small part of it.

                        BOOM. That just happened.

                        Ok, done embarrassing myself.
