When eating at a restaraunt that can even be remotely considered ethnic, I try to drink a like beer (ie Tsingtao, Chinese; Sappporo (Japanese), Peroni (Italian); Dos Equis (Mexican), Guiness etc.

Redhook is damn good. Also worth having in that area is just about anything from my favorite brewery Rogue. Full sail is also very very good.
