Kansas is now Marginal for the threat of severe weather. Now if there were tornadoes, it would be through western half of Ok and the very southern counties of KS (Harper/Barber Counties). But that dropped from 5% probabilities to 2%.

There just has not been a quality return of moisture. Bigger issue is the rain coverage. What looked like earlier in the week to be a good chance of quality rainfall for Wichita is looking more hit and miss.

I stopped by to check on my mother and left as I thought it was rolling in. Dark skies, winds picked up and it was just starting to rain. Get home, take a nap and wake up to find it never really rained and nothing looks the least bit wet.
