He was pretty good poster, and well-reasoned, especially for his age when he started posting here. I liked him. Then, from what I recall, he seemed to get a little too condescending, especially in climate discussions.

Holy hell what a nutjob. I think he was mentally ill, legitimately.
Oh you mean the guy that got so rattled he made about 10 screen names and started conversing and fighting with himself?

Yah, major nut. Cold broke that mofo.

Started the board on the BeSeen platform around '97. Eventually moved to EZBoard and was there for several years. Finally broke down and went to my own domain using phpBB board software. That lasted the longest. Gave the site to ShockBand, who gave it to Kai, who gave it to Kung Wu. At some point in the Kai/Kung years it was moved to vBulletin, and here were are.

Some of the early posters I remember (with apologies to those I will surely forget):

        DUShock
Niedermeyer/wsu789 (met him a few times, not sure if he still lurks or posts under a different name.)
Eagle60 (my dad, who passed a few years ago)
        ABC
        DaShox
        ISASO
        Cactus Jack
        JVShocker
        BoilerShock
shockerfan13 (I think I have that right, and may be the same guy who goes by shockerfan now)
shoxlax (sorry, I don't remember what your original name here was)

ShockBand, AZ Shocker, WuDrWu were pretty early members or not far behind.

I know there were others, as for awhile we had a user directory with real names, for those who chose to be listed.
Signed in just to say hi and that eagle60 was pretty cool.... we even had a SN get together with a few of the members (Burton, KS ?) There were a number of us back in the day that were mods (never did get those checks). Also the board used to have a chat feature which was great during and after games. And on the valley talk board I vaguely recall a gaming board/ feature which was fairly competitive between posters like myself who were (and still are) gaming nerds.

Oh yes, we had the get-together in Buhler. BoilerShock (his name at the time, I believe), was there, too.

The chat feature was great for out-of-towners before radio streaming. Someone listening to Kennedy could give some textual play-by-play.

What a stroll down memory lane.

My name used to be different when I first joined, but I had it changed for a variety of reasons. (I was surprised Shock Top was still available then)

Glad my former self has all but been forgotten ;)

                Rasputin'... he was great exercise.

His buddy, eomaha, shouldn't have posted his old lady's teets on the Bugaha worship board. I fixed both their wagon's good.

                I broke blueblood too.

DoubleBJ's brokenness manifested by him joining our board so he could be closer to his keeper. Stockholm syndrome or something...

                        He lurks.

                        Great memories.

Also, I remember "DC Tulsa" was a solid poster.
