Should have gone with Tom. Tom is not a girl's name. ;-)
I think Pringles original intention was to make tennis balls... but on the day the rubber was supposed to show up a truckload of potatoes came. Pringles is a laid-back company, so they just said, "**** it, cut em up!" - MH

Saw a comment on Arrowhead Pride that said the chiefs went to Peyton first, that they didn't have him come to them. All the other teams wanted to convince PM that they were the best choice, have the best facilities yada yada yada. The chiefs know they are the best, and will make a superbowl run with or without PM.

If that scenario was presented to you, which would you choose?

The Denver Broncos have gotten a jump on the Peyton Manning chase.Television news helicopters followed Manning’s ride from a Denver-area airport to the Broncos facility, where Manning is meeting with team officials.

The Chiefs would be an instant Super Bowl contender if they are able to add Manning. BTW have the Redskins lost their minds giving up 3 first round picks to move up 4 spots in the draft. They would be better off sucking it up next year to get in the Matt Barkley sweepstakes, a real NFL quarterback prospect. There is no guarantee RG3 is the next Cam Newton/Michael Vick and even if he is I'm not sure it will get them to a Super Bowl.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

Sources familiar with the situation tell ESPN's Adam Schefter the Broncos and Cardinals are considered free agent Peyton Manning's "two likeliest landing spots."
According to Schefter, "indications" are that the Dolphins aren't as high on Manning's list as the Cardinals and Broncos. A source who spoke with Manning prior to his trip to Arizona says his "gut" is that Manning is "leaning toward Denver." Schefter also reports the Seahawks have been working to arrange a meeting with Manning, but have been unsuccessful. The Cardinals and Broncos' status as Manning's first two visits make it unsurprising that they're currently in the lead for his services, but it would be a major upset if Manning signs a new deal without first getting the checkbook of Dolphins owner Stephen Ross involved.

Look for whoever signs Wayne or Clark to be a precursor for the signing of Peyton

Manning spent 6 hours with Arizona.

Either Manning has no interest in KC or KC is feigning interest just to keep the fans from blowing up when they realize Cassel is their QB. There is no indications that KC is even in the game.

“Though Peyton Manning may still be a couple of days away from choosing his next team, the Denver Post reports that two more have joined the group of franchises who won’t be employing him. According to Mike Klis of the Post, the Seahawks and Chiefs are out. Both teams wanted to meet with Manning, and in each case Manning declined.”

Manning didn't want to visit KC. Sounds like he told them no.

Peyton Manning has not engaged either in contract negotiations or selected his next team and may not be prepared to make that decision by Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, when the new league year begins for other free agents.
