Of course. Once his release was imminent (they knew there would be a market for DB) the Panthers swooped in before the Chiefs did. Tomato, tomatoe... Doesn't matter. He probably couldn't have helped the Chiefs any more than Ward could have last Sunday; they're both injured right now.

Spagnola's a good coordinator. He's smart enough to make some changes. Like first of all benching/releasing Sorenson. He had a good run...

The o-line hasn’t been too terrible. Getting Long off IR will be a huge help. LDT was out as well.

we need a linebacker. The defense hasn’t been the same since DJ.

Travis’ contract is hurting KC. People like to point at Pats contract but it’s really Travis that hurts. That needs to be restructured or he needs to be traded.

Our lack of a #2 wideout has been evident. Veach has been one of the best in the NFL at finding value in UDFA’s but he needs to also recognize that if you are going to play MoneyBall, you aren’t going to win championships. Getting Josh Gordon will give Pat that Dwayne Bowe type relief valve.

The secondary is fine. Our linebackers need a playmaker. Dorian O’daniel was supposed to be that guy, now Nick Bolton is. Hitchens needs to go, Niemann should be depth only. I would rather have seen Chris Jones walk and Veach find a high quality LB to plug in. The D line is easier to draft for, but that high IQ, fast reaction LB is impossible to replace.

I Disagree on Travis Kelce. For being one of the top 3 at his position, he has a team friendly deal the next two years. He’s listed as a Y, but he plays in the slot or wide almost all the time, and is a tough matchup for defensive backs, and right now is drawing bracket and M/M defense. Bell plays tight more than TK. When teams are playing two deep safeties, KC needs to Target the middle in the medium 10-15 yard range, especially with Kelce. They aren’t playing to the top of their offensive game, but TK isn’t the problem. Turnovers are the main problem, and PM just isn’t performing to his production in past years.

Also their tackles arent aren’t playing as good as Fisher and Schwartz. They especially miss the consistency of Mitchell Schwartz. A rookie, even one with potential, can’t replace him. But as we all know, their defense is really bad and probably a problem that is unsolvable.

Chiefs secondary D is weak up the middle against the run and covering the TE. Their weak(est) link is playing safety and is 31 yrs old. The writing is on the wall.

Let C. Jones walk? Are you stupid or what? He's their best defender. Some would say Tyrran is, many would say Jones is.

Jones is also taking up too much of the salary cap for what he produces. I agree he his the best defender, but having a lineman like Jones is almost irrelevant if you don’t have linebackers with the skills to take advantage of the double teams he commands. We could be paying him, or we could be paying a top linebacker. I think a linebacker would be better.

Yes, Sorensen needs to be benched. I think once Ward comes back they will have more flexibility to do that.

Chiefs are going to start showing up on the side of milk cartons soon.

Final: Tennesse 27 - Kansas City 3. The Chiefs fall to 3-4. They have the Giants next week but then are back against a quality opponent the following week against the Packers.

The Bengals went into Baltimore and ripped the Ravens a new one 41-17.

So sad and so reckless and pointless. Tragic loss for the family of the person in the other vehicle.

Watching national news programs and 24-hour sports, you notice that Aaron Rodgers gets a whole lot more criticism that Henry Ruggs III.

That does seem interesting doesn't it? The woke mob has come after Rodgers all week non-stop and yet the Ruggs incident sort of fizzled after the first day. One believes in his freedom to choose what is right and wrong to put in his body and the other had a blood alcohol level twice the limit and was doing 156 MPH in his corvette when he slammed in to an innocent 23 year old and killed her and her dog.
